Parlez-vous français? ¿Hablas español? Parli italiano? Sprechen Sie Deutsch? Beszélsz magyarul? Because if you do, you should know that very soon Nadirim will be available in all of these languages.

How will this work?

If you live in a country where German, French, Spanish, Italian or Hungarian is an official language we will select your language based on your location. In case we selected a language that you would not prefer, don’t worry, because you can change this anytime from the game or website to a more appealing one.

After logging in there will be a separate chat window open for you to chat in the chosen language, but the English world channel will remain there for you to ask around and find your old friends any time. Another good news is that all the players will remain on the same server, so this way you will be able to make new friends from all over the world. The localization for these languages comes as the first step of a long-term plan to deliver Nadirim to a wide international player community.

Klaus has always been giver. He lived in Jin’Bakar, a region of greedy djinn’s, always looking to trade their wares in order to feed their never ending hunger for power.

Klaus knew he needed to leave Jin’Bakar if he was ever going to make his dream come true. With the help of his friend, Silverstep he found a region far away from the rest of the known world. A region of ice, snow and a bone chilling frost. It was called North Point.

With the support of his aides, Klaus was able to fulfill his dream of collecting and then giving away as many gifts as possible. They would travel to as many regions as they could to make this happen. One by one the days passed and one by one the gifts multiplied. They kept them in the basement of Klaus’s castle until one day they exploded.

The explosion formed a mountain of gifts and on top sat the castle of Klaus. That was when his aides added the title of Elder in front of his name. Any djinn who sat on a mountain of gifts deserved a title. Soon thereafter, the region was visited by The Grim Company. A trio of greedy travelers who sought to gain from others misfortune. In North Point they saw an opportunity beyond their wildest imagination.

Using Zamin’s magic, they replicated themselves and multiplied from three to many thousand. The Army of Grim was born.

They started looting the gifts, fighting with aides of Elder Klaus. Elder Klaus was helpless. His only hope is to send his aides to get help from the outside. Will anyone return with a weapon strong enough to fight back the Army of Grim? We must wait and see.

Look for the Flake People who will take you to this magical land.

A brand new feature coming to the Nadirim site soon is the Character page. As our community grows we feel that it will be useful to have your character at your reach, even if you aren’t playing. The looks of the page will be very similar to the character page you have in the game except you will not be able to modify your character. With all your equipped items shown on your character and your stats listed as they are in the game this feature will let you make comparisons between your character and your fellow players setup. For those of you, who like to brag about the progress you made in the game, this will be an excellent opportunity to let others see how well you are doing.

Click on the image for details

You may have also noticed the Achievements and Friends tabs in the box next to the character. These are also features planned to be introduced soon. We have created countless achievements based on various features of the game and the friend list that you missed so much will also make its way back to Nadirim. More about these features in upcoming posts to the DevBlog. Stay close! :)

The mechanism of the player trade will be quite simple. Drag your goods to the trade page, set a price accept the trade and you are all done.

Last Thursday Twisted Tribe announced the release date of Nadirim, 7th of November. Yes, we are only two weeks away from the end of the open beta, a day that we have been waiting for a very long time. This is a very important milestone in the development of Nadirim, but it doesn’t mean that we will stop adding new features and continue polishing the existing ones.

Now let me tell you what this means and what kind of changes will be introduced in the upcoming version.

Our designers made some amazing changes to the current cities, you will hardly recognize the good old places. New buildings and streets were born with redesigned city planning to make sure you won’t get lost anymore.

Couple of weeks ago we presented you Mapparan, an ancient city with a story of its own. There will be several zones added to enrich the deserts of Nadirim and every zone will have their own exciting story.

One of my favorite additions is the new ability to see your character on the map. It is a feature that many of you asked for, so say goodbye to the Red, Green and Purple characters. :)

More, brand new and super exciting quests! We’ve nearly doubled the total number of quests per zone. For example in Ennahar instead of 33 quests there will be more than 60.

The long awaited character customization – you will be able to change your character’s hair and face.

In order to make the game feel more exciting we decided to introduce new map and combat effects. They are awesome.

We would like to introduce a couple of exciting new features that we added today to the game.

Aggro:

Your calm walks through the desert have come to an end! Because of the latest update, some of the mobs have become aggressive so be careful where you wander. There are three type of mobs:

Neutral

These mobs are marked by a light blue circle below their feet. You will be able to challenge them but they will not attack you if you go near them regardless of the level difference.

Hostile

The aggressive mobs are marked with a red circle. If you go too close to these mobs their red marker will start to spike showing you’ve entered their aggro zone, and if you don’t leave fast enough they will initiate combat. This will only happen with aggressive mobs who are on the same level as you or above.

Scared

For the aggressive mobs below your level, you will see an orange circle showing they are scared of you and they will stay put even if you wander near them. You should be careful however, because they might still outnumber you.

Sound effects:

Turn your speakers up! Nadirim has received some new combat and world sound effects to improve the gaming experience.

Health regeneration:

Due to your numerous requests for health regeneration, the designers and developers have reintroduced this old, but now new feature. We are proud to announce that your health will now regenerate your full hp in 15 minutes.

Premium items:

A brand new feature available for those of you who like to take things a bit easier will appreciate the new premium items from the game. They are going to be sold at in game vendors, so don’t forget to check out their merchandise. The new item class will be marked with a purple colour and their stats will be similar to the epic items to give you a nice advantage in your combats.

Invite a friend:

To celebrate the new updates and the soon to come end of the Open Beta, we have thought of an event to help you win a few free Gems and introduce us to your friends. Send your referral link or an e-mail invitation to a friend, guide them through to level 4 and we will send you the reward Gems. We will reward you for every friend who reaches the 4th level and as a bonus you will get extra rewards according to how many people you helped join.

Are you wondering why you have to choose between them? Well, the answer is easy: you will be able to pick which one to use to travel within the vast territories of Nadirim. Mounts are a form of transportation on which players can ride atop the backs of various animals or on exotic items like flying carpets.

We put together a short FAQ to make it easier to understand the way they work.

Q: Why should I use a mount?

Travelling with a mount is always faster than walking. You will save time and will have a better chance to avoid mob aggro. Plus they look awesome!

Q: Will I be able to use my mounts everywhere?

Mounts will be usable in every passable area except for dungeons where, upon entering, your character will automatically dismount. Before you ask, no you won’t be able to fly over mountains with a flying carpet.

Q: Where will mounts be available?

There will be mount vendors in every larger city where you will be able to purchase them for gems starting from the very first level. They will become available for dinars as well, but only from level 10.

Q: What kind of mounts will be there?

There will be several kind of mounts (horse, camel, elephant, flying carpet, etc.) but they will be divided into three groups, based on their speed and into two other groups based on their durability (permanent and temporary).

Q: How will I summon my mounts?

The purchased mounts are accessible from your inventory/items/mounts tab and you can set your mount active the same way you equip your character, by dragging it to a slot (mount) on your character page. After this you will have to click on the mount up button displayed near the skillbar.

If you have any other question that are connected to the mounts, please don’t be shy and ask it.

Some of you may have wandered around this strange place, but little do you know what secrets it holds. Mapparan is an ancient city with a story of its own.

In a time before time, four entities were created to protect the world from itself. They hibernated peacefully while the world grew and thrived but all too soon, evil began to poison the world. The giants were forced to awaken and destroy all life, and the evil with it, before returning to their slumber.

Many times this cycle repeated until the Mapparanians discovered magic.
Even as evil threatened to crush the world and awaken the sleeping entities, the Mapparanians rose to protect their lives. They cursed the giants with the Spell of Dreams, locking them into an enchanted sleep, and buried them deep in the desert. As long as the giants remain asleep, the world is safe from destruction, but if they were to rise again, the world would be in terrible danger.

So it became the sole purpose of the Mapparanian priests to protect the sleep of the giants. The high priestess Zadash cast the Spell of Time on the priests, making them ageless and freezing their minds. The priests are stuck in an eternal time loop, living for only one purpose: maintain the curse to protect the world.
Today Mapparan looks like a faded temple ruin from the past with priests walking around listlessly. If you meet one of them, do not expect him to remember you. He cannot even remember his own name, the single thing he keeps track of is within his sole Memory Jar.

Mapparan has many secrets waiting to be discovered. Be sure not to miss any of them.
